📋 General Setup
Number of Teams: 32 teams (2 people per board set for singles, 4 people per board set for doubles)
Format: Single elimination — lose once and you're out.
Boards: 16 boards used simultaneously in Round 1.
Rounds:
Round of 32: 16 matches
Round of 16: 8 matches
Quarterfinals: 4 matches
Semifinals: 2 matches
Finals: 1 match
🎯 Gameplay Rules
Scoring: Standard cancellation scoring to 21 points.
Winning: First team to reach or exceed 21 points wins the match.
Time Limit: Optional — 30-minute max per match to keep the tournament moving.
Tiebreaker: If time expires, the team with the highest score wins. If tied, sudden death round (first to score wins).
🔄 Match Flow
Round 1: All 16 boards active.
Subsequent Rounds: Boards reused as teams are eliminated.
Finals: Played on a designated “championship board.”
🧑⚖️ Officials & Conduct
Referees: Optional, but helpful for score keeping and resolving disputes.
Sportsmanship: No foul language or unsportsmanlike conduct.
Alcohol: If allowed, must be consumed responsibly.
🏅 Prizes
Optional: Award for 1st place, runner-up, and 1st and 2nd place outfit awards for singles and doubles tournament.
